Refund Policy
This policy explains how payments, deposits, cancellations, partial work, revisions, and refund reviews are handled for Skillnest Platform’s advisory and content-focused services.

Skillnest Platform provides custom communication support, content planning, visual messaging coordination, and audience engagement guidance. Because this work is service-based and customized, refunds are reviewed according to the status and scope of the project.
Overview
This Refund Policy applies to payments made for Skillnest Platform services, including communication support, content planning, structured text preparation, visual messaging coordination, audience engagement guidance, advisory notes, content outlines, and related digital communication materials.
Skillnest Platform does not sell physical products. Our services involve professional time, review, planning, writing, structuring, consultation, communication, and preparation of custom materials. Because this work cannot be returned like a physical item, refund eligibility depends on whether work has started, what has been prepared, and what has been delivered.
By making a payment, approving a proposal, paying an invoice, or authorizing work, the client acknowledges that Skillnest Platform may begin allocating time, reviewing information, preparing documents, and reserving project capacity.
Service-Based Work
Skillnest Platform’s work is based on customized professional service. It may include reviewing business information, organizing communication logic, preparing structured content, developing educational brand messaging, creating online page structures, preparing publication plans, and providing audience perception recommendations.
The value of the service is created through time, expertise, analysis, writing, planning, and coordination. Once this work has started, the time and effort involved cannot be fully recovered.
Refund decisions are therefore based on project status, the amount of work completed, the nature of the payment, written terms, client communication history, and whether Skillnest Platform has performed or substantially prepared the agreed service.
Deposits and Upfront Payments
Some projects may require a deposit, partial payment, or full upfront payment before work begins. Such payments may reserve Skillnest Platform’s availability, cover initial review, compensate for planning, and allow project preparation to begin.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, deposits are generally non-refundable once Skillnest Platform has started reviewing materials, preparing a project direction, scheduling work, creating drafts, or allocating internal resources.
If a client cancels before any work has started, Skillnest Platform may review the situation and may issue a full or partial refund after deducting payment processing costs, administrative costs, and non-cancelable expenses.
Refund Eligibility
A refund may be considered when:
- payment was made but Skillnest Platform has not yet started any work;
- the client was charged in error;
- duplicate payment was made for the same invoice;
- Skillnest Platform is unable to provide the agreed service because of an internal issue;
- the agreed scope cannot reasonably be performed and no suitable alternative is accepted;
- a written agreement specifically provides refund rights under defined conditions.
Refund requests are reviewed individually. Submitting a refund request does not automatically guarantee approval. Skillnest Platform may request payment details, project history, invoice references, communication records, or clarification before making a decision.
Non-Refundable Work
Payments may be non-refundable, in whole or in part, for services already started, prepared, delivered, reviewed, revised, or made available to the client.
Non-refundable work may include:
- completed drafts, outlines, content structures, messaging documents, or communication materials;
- consultation time, written recommendations, strategy notes, and project communication;
- research, review, planning, and analysis already performed;
- visual messaging concepts, content maps, page structures, and editorial frameworks;
- audience engagement guidance and perception improvement recommendations;
- rush service, priority scheduling, or reserved project capacity;
- custom work based on information supplied by the client.
Refunds may also be declined if the client fails to provide required materials, delays approvals, changes the scope after work begins, stops responding, refuses to participate in the revision process, or requests work outside the original agreement.
Cancellations
Clients may request cancellation in writing. The request should include the client name, project name, payment reference, invoice number if available, and reason for cancellation.
If cancellation is requested before work begins, Skillnest Platform may issue a full or partial refund depending on administrative time, payment processing costs, scheduling commitments, and any preparation already completed.
If cancellation is requested after work begins, the client remains responsible for the portion of work already completed or prepared. Skillnest Platform may deduct the value of completed work, reserved time, research, planning, communication, drafts, and non-cancelable costs from any possible refund.
If cancellation occurs after final deliverables have been sent or made available, payments are generally non-refundable.
Dissatisfaction and Revisions
If a client is dissatisfied with a deliverable, the client should first provide specific written feedback. Skillnest Platform may review the feedback and, where appropriate, provide revisions within the agreed scope.
Dissatisfaction alone does not automatically create a right to a refund, especially when the service has been performed according to the agreed scope. Content, messaging, tone, and visual communication involve subjective decisions that are often refined through revision.
Refunds are generally not provided when the client changes their mind after work has been completed, approved a direction and later wants a different concept, provided incomplete information, expected results that were not promised, or did not use available revision opportunities.
Skillnest Platform may, at its discretion, offer a reasonable revision, partial credit, alternative deliverable, or partial refund depending on the circumstances.
Delayed Projects
Project timelines depend on client cooperation, timely delivery of materials, clear feedback, and approval of drafts or project stages. A delay caused by missing client information, late feedback, changed direction, or lack of response does not automatically create a right to a refund.
If the client does not respond for an extended period, Skillnest Platform may pause the project. Restarting a paused project may require rescheduling and may be subject to additional fees if the original scope, availability, or timeline has changed.
If Skillnest Platform is responsible for a significant delay, we may offer a revised timeline, adjusted schedule, partial credit, or another reasonable solution depending on the project status and written agreement.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Clients are encouraged to contact Skillnest Platform before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Many payment issues can be resolved through communication, invoice review, project status clarification, or correction of billing errors.
If a client initiates a chargeback after services have been performed, Skillnest Platform may provide payment processors, banks, or dispute providers with relevant records, including invoices, messages, project files, delivery evidence, approvals, and service history.
Filing a chargeback does not cancel responsibility for valid fees owed for services rendered. Skillnest Platform may suspend current or future services while a payment dispute is pending.
Refund Review Requests
To request a refund review, contact Skillnest Platform using the contact details below. Include your full name, email address, project name, invoice or transaction reference, payment date, reason for the request, and supporting details.
Skillnest Platform will review the request based on project status, service scope, amount of work completed, payment terms, communication history, and any written agreement between the parties.
If a refund is approved, it will generally be returned to the original payment method where possible. Processing time may depend on the payment provider, bank, or card issuer. Payment processing fees may be deducted where permitted.
